Description: EducaCentre is located in the centre of St. Petersburg in an exclusive and fashionable district on Petrogradskiy Island. It's only a 15 minute walk to the Neva Embankment and the Peter and Paul Fortress. The school is 3 minutes by foot from Petrogradskaya metro station, which is only 2 stops away from Nevskiy Prospekt.

The school is set in a large and traditional, four-storey, 20th century building. We have classrooms on the 3rd & 4th floors. Our office and reception are on the 3rd floor. There are 19 bright, modern classrooms, fully furnished and equipped for language lessons.

In addition, we offer students the use of our student area with free internet access and wireless internet, so they can use their own laptop computers to get online. The school also has its own audio and video library that students can use free of charge. In the hall there is a common area with tea, coffee and snack machines, daily newspapers and magazines. There is also a cafe on the 1st (ground) floor of the building.

All our highly professional teachers have many years of experience both in Russia and abroad and hold MA or PhD degrees in RFL (Russian as a Foreign Language). The teachers aim to make lessons enjoyable and interesting, creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages the students to learn the language as quickly as possible. We make use of communicative methods to teach Russian.

To ensure you will be taught at the right level we will ask you to complete a short pre-course questionnaire before arrival and then, on your first day, we also test you at the school. Your progress will be continuously monitored during your stay at the school and you get a certificate at the end of the course.

We provide all our students with full visa support (letter of invitation, instructions for applying for the visa at the Consulate and registration upon arrival) and organize accommodation and arrival and departure transfers. For our students we usually offer home stay in Russian host families (single room, B&B or half board). We can also arrange hotels or hostels at attractive prices or help rent an apartment. We offer a varied social programme including a free welcome tour, the weekly Come Together tea club and different activities and excursions.

Courses:

* You can start your course any Monday all year long, no matter what level you are.
* The lessons take place from Monday to Friday, usually from 10:00 in the morning. The maximum number of students per class is 8. The average per class is 3-4.
* The minimum duration of group courses is 1 week; the maximum is one academic year.

We offer the following Group courses: Standard 20 lessons per week (10:00-13:15) and Intensive 30 lessons per week (10:00-15:30).

We also offer Combined courses: Combined 25 (20 group+ 5 individual lessons), Combined 30 (20 group+ 10 individual lessons) and Combined 35 (30 group+ 5 individual lessons).

You can also book Individual lessons, any number per week (from 2 to 40 lessons). Each lesson lasts 45 minutes.
