Description:
Our Spanish language course is located in the magnificent Santiago de Cuba. Study Spanish with other international students in small groups. Our school offers total immersion Intensive and Super-Intensive Spanish language courses, with experienced native Cuban tutors, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We also offer courses in Latin Dance (Salsa, Merengue, Mambo, Rumba), as well as Spanish Guitar. An extensive optional cultural program is also available, with a wide range of excursions and activities such as trips to tobacco factories, mango farms, a rum museum, and beach visits. Accommodation is in carefully selected Cuban host families, all located within easy walking distance of the centre of Santiago.
Highlights:
Lying on a large bay, at the foot of the awe-inspiring 'Sierra Maestra Mountains,' Santiago de Cuba is the second largest city in Cuba. On one of the promontories, at the entrance to the bay is a spectacular colonial Spanish castle, perfectly preserved, with incredible views over the bay. In Santiago, students are placed in host families, in a quiet residential area, within easy walking distance of the historic city centre. Lessons are held in host families, in teachers' homes or in a nearby cultural centre. Students are placed in 'mini-groups' of a maximum of 3 and always with a fully-qualified and experienced Cuban teacher.
