Description:
At Wide Bay Institute of TAFE you will study the Preliminary English, Certificate I in Spoken and Written English, Certificate II in Spoken and Written English, Certificate III in Spoken and Written English and/or Certificate IV in Spoken and Written English. Wide Bay Institute of TAFE's English Language programs enable you to reach the English language levels required for formal studies in Australia and/or gain English language skills to improve employment prospects in your own country and for the English language skills required for holiday travel in Australia. All English language programs are offered full time with 25 hours of classes each week. Class sizes average 10 students with a maximum of 18 students. An open and friendly approach to learning is adopted in order to ensure you are able to achieve your full potential. Hervey Bay campus delivers a full-time English language program. English is also available part time at Gympie, Maryborough and Bundaberg campuses catering to non-student VISA holders only. Assessment: You will be assessed upon entry to Wide Bay Institute of TAFE to determine the most suitable level for you to begin your English language studies. As you progress through the program you will undertake formal tests conducted in the classroom. Only after you have successfully completed these tests can you progress to the next level.
