Trailblazer International Outdoor Adventure Program
Canada
- British Columbia:
Vancouver
Dates: July 6 - 31, 2009
Description:
Spirit Teamwork Leadership Outdoors As a Trailblazer, you will go place you never dreamed possible. We invite you to join them and discover who you really are. One of the most popular questions applicants ask is: What is a Trailblazer? A Trailblazer is a person who is looking for a personal adventure in a leadership role. Trailblazers challenge themselves to step outside the 'comfort zone' and learn more about life, the wilderness, Canada, English and their personal abilities. Trailblazers International is a four-week outdoor adventure program for people aged 15 to 18 and 19 and older (We can also offer a custom designed Trailblazer program to suit your group or organization. The program can be made shorter or longer to meet your time schedule). During the summer of 2008, our students ventured into the wild backcountry of Garibaldi Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada and spent 5 days hiking, navigating and learning how to work as a team. Each Trailblazer grew as an individual, as a set and as a group. Trailblazers in the past came from Mexico, Italy, Belgium, Canada, USA, Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, France, Austria, Spain and Japan, didn't know each other, but accomplished many great things in four weeks. They climbed the Black Tusk a peak of 2315 meters and gazed at glacier-fed lakes. In 2009, Trailblazers from around the world will again challenge themselves in an once-in-a-lifetime chance. We invite you to learn English, learn about Canada and learn about yourself. Become a Trailblazer - your memories will last a lifetime!
