Description: We run German language courses in Hamburg. A tandem partner exchange increases your skills. If you intend to study at a German university, it may be interesting for you that we are an accredited TestDaF examination centre. Hamburg is Germany's second city, and many say it's also the nicest. TANDEM is situated in an old part to the west of the city centre, close to the river Elbe and minutes away from where it's at! You'll like it here. Our partner schools in TANDEM International offer language courses abroad: Italian in Italy, French in France, English in England, Ireland and Canada, Spanish in Spain, Argentina and Chile.

Standard Courses include 20 lessons of 45 minutes each per week.

Highlights: Since 1985 TANDEM Hamburg has been a recognised institution of further education in Hamburg. We are well known:

- for our modern foreign language teaching approach
- for good, efficient and individual customer care
- for quality in further education.

Here, the students learn in a small group, with modern materials and methods. You will find no more than twelve students per group; in our evening classes the maximum number is nine.

We look for a language exchange partner for our students. These TANDEM's help each other learn the foreign language - outside of the classroom - and make their different cultural backgrounds an experience for both partners. Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of the foreign language.

Our motto" more than just language learning" is also applicable to our language training trips and projects and the special courses with an additional cultural programme.

TANDEM Hamburg International Language School's Mission Statement: TANDEM Hamburg, founded in 1985, offers German language courses in Hamburg, and also foreign language courses here and at partner institutions in Italy, France, England, Ireland, Canada, Spain, and Chile.
