Description: The EF language school in Quito is a charming building in one of the city's best residential areas, just 15 minutes from the city center. Inside there are bright classrooms, equipped with cable television and video facilities, and a modern language laboratory, just perfect to take advantage of this great immersion program. Our fully trained teachers have access to the latest multimedia teaching systems. You will find a snack bar and a tennis table room, and outside, the colorful gardens are the perfect place to relax between classes. On your first day at school, we will test your language knowledge and assign you to the correct study level.

EF's excellent teachers hold specialist qualifications in the teaching of their own language to non-native speakers. They will provide 20 to 30 language lessons per week plus supervised self access study periods. Students reside in twin rooms in carefully selected host families or in twin rooms in a student residence. A full program of social and sports activities, free of charge or at special EF group rates will keep you busy throughout your stay in Quito.

EF provides with students placement and progress tests along with comprehensive pre-departure material to ensure that you maximize your improvement during your stay. We also offer volunteer work and intership programs.

Highlights: Courses start every Monday of the year so there is bound to be one that fits with your academic, personal, or professional commitments. Programs can be designed ranging from 2 weeks to a year and our staff will match you up with the course that best accommodates your needs.

Host families are recommended and available for those who want to be more fully immersed in the native culture and language. Your fellow students will be from countries as far apart as Finland, Brazil, Indonesia, Canada, and Portugal. Together you learn, explore, have fun, and speak your study language day in, day out.
