Description: The school is situated in the district 'Suedstadt', which is well-known and very lively. Lots of shops, bars and (mostly Italian and Spanish) restaurants are round the corner. The next tram station is at 3 min. walking distance, as well as one of the university canteens and a beautiful park for our barbecue parties with the students. You will find some pictures soon on our website. Internships consist of one month intensive course of German language and three month of internship, combined with an evening course twice per week.

Tandem Koeln offers German courses at all levels, from Beginner to Advanced. Classes consist of 20 lessons of 45 minutes per week and take place from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. You'll always learn in small classes, usually in groups of five to ten students. Starting dates (except for Beginners) are every Monday. Minimal participation time is 2 weeks. Students with some knowledge of German usually can be accommodated at short notice.

These courses are appropriate as exam preparation for the DSH or TestDaf (admission requirement for the German universities) and other exams (Zertifikat Deutsch B1).

In addition to regular German classes, Tandem Koeln offers a cultural programme (one up to three events per week).
