Description: Our Little Roses Language School is part of Our Little Roses Home for Girls. The language school is professional and "not-for-profit": all profits made by the Language School are invested in the Our Little Roses Home for Girls.

Our Little Roses Language School was founded because of its ability to offer a unique experience to learn Spanish in the context of Our Little Roses Ministries community that is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO).

Our main program is a residential program for over 70 abandoned and abused girls. The Language School functions in cooperation with Our Little Roses Home for Girls, so that students can be totally immersed in the language, customs, and values of Honduran society. Students can do volunteer work in their free time while at the Our Little Roses Language School.

Students receive formal classes from teachers with years of teaching experience, in modern airconditioned classrooms, and practice what they learn through interaction with the girls and staff of the Home, learning at the same time the 'Honduran reality' and the political and economic situation of Honduras.

Part of Our Little Roses Ministries is also a medical clinic with a special program for street children, a dental clinic, a rural housing development project and a Bilingual School. Students can volunteer with these programs while taking a Spanish course as well.

We offer 3 types of housing during a Language Course:
* On/close to OLR Girls' Home compound (deep immersion, unlimited internet, washing machine, airconditioning, hot water showers);
* Homestay with Honduran family (deep immersion, experience Honduran family life, airconditioning);
* Hospitality house (more luxurious, pool, airconditioning, internet, laundry facilities, hot water showers and the BEST hostess in the world).

Cost in US$: starting at USD 430 a week for 4 hours per day, ALL included

Prices range from USD 1,400 (four weeks of Spanish classes, 4 hours a day for 5 days a week, with lodging and meals included, living on or close to the OLR Home for Girls compound) to USD 2,000 (four weeks of Spanish classes, 4 hours a day for 5 days a week, with lodging and meals included, living in the Hospitality House). Shorter and longer periods are possible. Group rates available.

All prices include:
* transportation to and from the airport;
* accommodations with internet, hot water showers, AC and laundry facilities;
* three meals a day at designated times (weekdays only);
* language classes in air-conditioned environment;
* travel support;
* and all the coffee you can drink!

Our Little Roses Ministries's Mission Statement: Our Little Roses Ministries (OLRM), a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), was founded in 1988 to care for abused and abandoned girls and has extended multiple outreach ministries into the Honduran community. The largest and central ministry is our Home to more than 70 girls. In addition, the ministries include the Holy Family health clinic, community for poor single mothers, Holy Family Bilingual School, Our Little Roses Language School and a medical program for street children. All aspects of Our Little Roses Ministries are designed to break the cycle of poverty in Honduras. Our Little Roses Home for girls prepares and empowers girls who have been abandoned or come from abusive or seriously dysfunctional families. At our Home they receive excellent mental and health care, good nutrition, individualized education and love. Our community in Cofradia provides homes for once destitute single mothers, and our clinic provides excellent health care at very low costs to the community. OLRM raises awareness of the Honduran reality among domestic and international visitors through Holy Family Bilingual School and the Language Immersion School.
