Description: Harven, established 1976, is the only year-round English language school in Woking. A small school with a unique family atmosphere offering individual attention and set in a delightful residential area 7 minutes' walk from the town centre with its shopping centres, theatres, cinemas and restaurants. Woking is 27 minutes by train from central London and 30 minutes by coach from Heathrow airport.

Adult Group courses are 17.5 or 27.5 hours per week starting from any Monday for 2 weeks or more. Business English or IELTS preparation options can be added; Tutorial and Combined courses are available year-round and Cambridge Examination courses start in January, April and October. Students study in small classes of maximum 8 students

Harven is well-equipped and resourced; the Self-access Centre contains a wide range of recorded, written and CD-ROM based material and exercises designed to supplement and consolidate work covered in class. Emails and Internet access are free and there is a Students' Common Room, Kitchen and large garden.

Summer Courses are available for juniors (14-17) including full board, activities and Saturday excursions. Parents are welcome to join their children in Woking to take an adult course at our year-round site 20 minutes' walk away. Host family accommodation can be arranged together.

Summer courses for juniors and all the family (children from 14-17 years old). Woking is only 27 minutes from London Waterloo and there is a direct half-hourly coach service from Heathrow Airport.
