Description: Marbella is a cosmopolitan Spanish town located in the beautiful and vibrant area of the Costa del Sol in the Malaga Province, just a 30-minutes from Malaga's international airport and 40-minute from Gibraltar Airport. It is a luxurious resort town and a popular vacation spot for the rich and famous, as well as many ordinary folks who are willing to pay just a little bit extra. It is home to well-known and famous international artists such as Antonio Banderas & Melanie Griffith, Rod Stewart, Julio Iglesias, etc. With over 200,000 visitors each year, it is one of Spain's main tourist destinations.

Its mild Mediterranean climate offers many sunny days, perfect for the beach. From Guadalalmina to Cabopino, the Marbella coastline stretches along some 27 kilometers of 24 sunny Mediterranean beaches where you can enjoy traditional fish and seafood favorites like sardines on a spit, fried fish and the incomparable paella. Marbella possesses a rich and varied gastronomy. Try local dishes such as, "Gazpacho, "Pescato frito & Marisco", tasty and filling tapas, Serrano smoked ham, and delightful wines of "Jerez & Manzanilla" as well as, the very famous "Sangra".

Marbella has got excellent sporting activities, such as, world-class tennis, jet-skiing, balloon flights, cable skiing, sailing, windsurfing, horse riding, tennis, hang-gliding, volleyball, etc and it is only two hours way from the ski resort in Granada. It is also well known for being golfers' paradise, with its more than fifteen golf courses featuring modern facilities of the highest quality. There are also three pleasure craft harbors here.

Marbella boasts a wide array of nightlife, with the famous "Golden Mile", illuminated with a glittering tiara of star-studded restaurants, street cafes, discos and nightclubs. The many swanky restaurants offer local dishes and international cuisine, such as, Lebanese, Thai, Polynesian, Greek, French, Italian, Moroccan, and Japanese.
   
All over town, you can pick from a huge range of spots for all night entertainment. There are sophisticated piano bars, flamenco shows, live cabaret, rock music, karaoke and some excellent discos. The Old Town of Marbella is a hub of activity day and night. It is a great area for a bar crawl.

Highlights: Spanish, the 2nd official international language has experienced a growing importance in the developing global community. Learning Spanish in Spain is well worth the experience. Classes are taught at all levels by highly qualified Spanish teachers in small groups, from beginners to advanced. Classes are taught in Spanish only and our teachers use a practical and communicative approach. Students learn the language as well as, the grammar structures in a stimulating atmosphere.

Ricardo Soriano SLC: is located in one of the most emblematic and commercial area of Marbella. Situated in the very center of the city, 5 minute from the beach. It is also easily accessible by bus. The school is situated on the top floor of a 3 story building. There is a very large and sunny terrace of about 1.000 m2 with wonderful views to the city and the sea, where students may take their Spanish lessons (especially in the summer months). It housed 8 bright classrooms, a very large reception area, common room with snack and refreshment machine, computer room with internet access, audio-visual room, etc. The rooms are all equipped with air conditioning and heating facilities.

Spanish Semi Standard

These courses are ideal for students who wish to split course time with their Flamenco Dance, Technique or Guitar classes. It is hosted at the Taller facilities. 90 minutes each day, from Monday to Friday. In case there is only one person on the course, it would be 60 minutes each day.

Spanish Standard

Group instructed 20 Classes of Spanish Language and culture per week from Monday to Friday with a variety of different teachers. In Cadiz, this course runs a minimum length 8 weeks up to twenty-four weeks in university term-time between October and June. This course is recommended for students who wish to combine language learning with a real life experience of the Spanish culture, thus, it allows enough time for students to get fully acquainted to the city and the Spanish cultures surrounding it. Classes challenge students apply their knowledge of theory by means of various methods ranging from situation and role-playing activities to debates about current issues.

Spanish Intensive

It is of similar nature to the classes described above. It consists of group instructed 30 Classes of Spanish Language and culture per week from Monday to Friday with a variety of different teachers. Designed for people with little time and the need to practice even more in little time, thus, the courses encourages quick progress in Spanish communication.

Individual (One to One) Spanish

Tailor-made private classes for highly motivated persons who need to advance rapidly in a specific area of study but in little available time. You decide how many classes you want and what you wish to study.

Combined Cities

This program attracts the voyagers in students. It allows for students to choose from the list of courses that we offer in our schools and distribute the learning experience among the different locations. By combining a course from among these different cities, one will learn Spanish and have the opportunity to know the rich variety of Spanish cultures at the same time. Plus, it makes for great city hopping.

Group Programs

Business Intensive Spanish

If you want to work in a Spanish-speaking work environment or aspire to an international career, then, this is a good course for you.

Course is designed for students in the business world. You will familiarize yourself with the relevant jargon, increase your knowledge of the field and learn specific skills of the trade. In Seville, it is 20-hours/week Standard Spanish +6 hours/week business Spanish in mini-groups (1-4 students), while in Barcelona, it 20 lessons of Spanish classes +8 lessons/week specializing in the field of business. In Barcelona, courses begin once monthly. In Cadiz, it lasts 2 or 4 weeks with 10 classes/wk. In Seville, it is given all year round.

Optional: Official exam course for the Madrid Chamber of Commerce.

DELE (Diploma Espanol como Lengua Extranjera) Preparation

This is a course specially designed to prepare DELE certification Course offered for each level of exam (inicial, býsico, superior).

Course is designed for those students, both university and professional, who want to be able to include the only official diploma of Spanish on their curriculum. It prepares students for all three levels (Initial, Basic and Advanced) of the official DELE exam of the Cervantes Institute. It is the only exam recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education. Course may lasts 2, 3 or 4 weeks and exams take place in May and November.

Christmas Spanish Programs

This 2-week program is geared at people who seek to study during their free time in the winter.. It is held at all levels and it is a good way to get to know and to enjoy the way Andalusia celebrate these special dates, while you practice your Spanish.

Each day you will have 4 Spanish classes + a free optional subjects each day, in groups of a maximum of 8 students. This is available for all levels: from beginners to the most advanced. In addition, you will 16 other intensive classes per week (morning classes).
