Eurolingua One-to-One Homestay Programmes are available all year and are suitable for students of any age (16 - 75 years) and language level (beginner to advanced). Ideal for personal interest, business, travel or examination revision purposes. All Eurolingua tutors are fully-qualified teachers and native speakers, experienced in teaching their mother tongue as a foreign language.

The unique Eurolingua One-to-One Homestay Programme will ensure that you make maximum progress in the shortest possible time, whatever your starting level, beginner to advanced. You live full-board in the home of your fully-qualified foreign language tutor, receiving 4 hours per day (20 hours per week) of individual language tuition, specifically adapted to your own level, learning pace and interests, whether for business or pleasure!! The rest of the time you benefit from lots of conversational practice by participating in the usual everyday family activities of your personal tutor and family and by meeting people in the local community. You may, of course, have as much independent time as you wish. You acquire an authentic accent, total confidence and real fluency in the language.

Accommodation, Facilities and Local Area
Detached house, two floors: ground and first first floor. On the ground floor there is the living room, library, dining room, kitchen, laundry, Toilet and garage. On the first floor there is three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house is surrounded by a yard and a very nice garden in front of the house. There's a barbecue on the terrace. The student's room is a 12 m2 furnished room, with a wide window. It's nice and comfortable. The house is near the main city, Funchal, 12 km away.

From sunrise to sunset, Madeira offers her visitors a wealth of contrasts due to the sunlight that shines as slowly as its movement. The blues of the sky and the ocean mingle with other hues, which fascinate us, thanks to the exquisite beauty of the flowers and plants winding the island at the pace of the water flowing in the "levadas", which provide unforgettably charming walks. With magnificent panoramas, Madeira is famous for her sweet fortified wines, her embroideries, wickerwork and above all for the captivating hospitality of her people. With a new intercontinental airport, the region has quality hotels and restaurants and offers excellent conditions for a wide variety of meetings, including learning Portuguese. An all-inclusive destination where Culture joins Tourism in a joint offer that lulls of visitors who can still enjoy clear waters with enticing temperatures and a variety of sport activities. I know the island and I can show the student around and introduce him to the Madeiran culture as well offer him a nice environment at my place, thanks to my teaching experience, communication skills, knowledge of Madeira.

Estreito Camara de Lobos, is 12 km far from the capital, Funchal and 24.0 Km from the airport. Here we have everything needed, banks, supermarket, chemist, church, shops. We offer 20 hour of Portuguese per week during the months of July, August and September as well as providing local visits and excursions.
