Description: Community Service Alliance works exclusively in the Dominican Republic and offers immersion programs to students from all over the world wishing to learn or improve their Spanish skills and learn about Caribbean and Latin American culture.

Our immersion programs are structured as one-month programs, 6 hours of study per day, however we offer different packages to accommodate students wishing to study for a shorter period of time. All programs are 1:1 to allow for individualized instruction where students move at their own pace and are given the flexibility to integrate personal interests and learning objectives in each class. We also accommodate groups, offering small group instruction for groups of 4-5 students.   

All programs combine both in-classroom instruction with field-based learning, including visits to local markets, museums, historical sites, cultural activities as well as learning to use the transportation system and other survival skills. We also offer individuals the opportunity to engage in volunteer service projects with local communities and agencies to get a chance to put your skills to work!
