The IELTS test consists of four elements: Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening and students must demonstrate competence in all four areas. The course will concentrate on improving your ability in these areas with intensive mock examination practice with attention given to strategies for the various question types and lots of practice using these strategies. Students will be trained in interpreting and answering IELTS questions. The course is topic-based covering the five topic areas most often found in IELTS examinations: health, social issues, technology, education and the environment. The topic based approach includes a strong focus on vocabulary learning and retention. Students can expect IELTS style speaking, reading, writing and listening all based on the same topic and are tested regularly on vocabulary. Students learn and support each other in a communicative classroom environment. Course Duration: 3 months
