Taormina in Sicily is a beautiful town, steeped in culture and history, lying by the warm Mediterranean Sea. This is an ideal location in which to learn Italian and discover the treasures of Sicily. Our school is located in an historic building in the heart of Taormina, just 10 minutes walk or 2 minutes by cable car from the beach! With incredible views over the Bay of Naxos, there is no better place to study Italian by the Mediterranean Sea. All classrooms are air-conditioned. There is a rooftop terrace, student lounge, library and free Internet access. The friendly staff at our school in Taormina provide an extensive programme of activities, guided walks, visits and full-day excursions to the many surrounding places of interest. New for 2006 are diving and hiking courses where students can learn the theory and practical skills needed for the PADI certificate or explore the serene beauty of Mt. Etna and the surrounding country side! The language courses on offer in Taormina include: -Semi-Intensive Italian -Standard Italian -Standard Plus -Intensive -Italian & Cookery -Italian & Cookery in the Teacher's Home -Italian and Mountain Biking -Italian and Hiking - NEW! -Italian and Diving - NEW! Including PADI certification - 5 theory lessons to learn the techinque of diving and 5 diving sessions over 2 weeks. -CELI Exam preparation -Private Lessons 20 or 30 lessons per week
