Our small class sizes guarantee a very personalized learning experience suited to each individual's needs and goals. International Gateway Kelowna was established in 2002 and is Kelowna's original ESL school. IGK is Canadian family owned and operated and is a proud member of the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association, the Kelowna-Kasugai Sister City Association and the Downtown Kelowna Business Association. Our trendy downtown campus is located on the second floor of the Town Center Mall within walking distance of beaches, attractions, entertainment, shops and transportation.

Full and part time ESL programs begin weekly for ages 12 and up. The main emphasis of our programs are on communication and on functional English for daily life. Moreover, IGK offers Cambridge (PET, FCE, CAE and BEC Vantage) certificates, TOEIC and IELTS preparation. The average class size is 8 and the maximum is 12. International Gateway Kelowna is an official Cambridge testing center.

* Executive - Full Time - Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
30 hours per week
* Full time - Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - 2:55 p.m.
25 hours per week
* Part time - Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
15 hours per week

- In the morning 5 levels of Practical ESL are offered from Beginner to Advanced that focus on the combined skills of reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking.
- In the afternoon students chose from the following electives: Cambridge PET, FCE, CAE, BEC Vantage, Conversation, Media, TOEIC, IELTS and Canadian History and Culture.
