Description: If you are a diligent, hard working student, who expects to be drilled and grilled, you should really go to another school! We believe that learning is most effective and most enjoyable in a relaxed environment, chatting like friends. We use a course book as a basis for the lessons, but the interests of the student are the deciding factor regarding the content of a lesson.

We WILL encourage you to achieve an intelligible pronunciation as soon as possible, especially of the five tones. Our experience is that time spent on this at the start, is more than repaid later on. And it's really not that hard, once you get down to it! Usually we recommend learning to read and write Thai script shortly after starting classes, but this is not compulsory, and if you prefer you can concentrate on spoken Thai, using the English alphabet for taking notes. The course books use both Thai script and English transliteration.

We offer private tuition only (for individuals and small groups). Times and frequency by agreement.

Highlights: Thai cooking lessons also possible.

Pink Chilli Languages's Mission Statement: We teach Thai to individuals and small groups. We aim to make classes relaxed, fun and interesting (hopefully we succeed most of the time). We have standard courses, but can customise lessons for student's particular needs at no extra charge.
