Description: Shrewsbury Education Service students follow High School programmes at excellent Colleges in the beautiful region of Shropshire in Central England. They select their own timetable from a varied and innovative range of A Level and Vocational subjects all of which lead to university entrance after two years. Our programmes, which can be of flexible duration, also include full tutorial and pastoral support and lessons in English as a Foreign Language if required. All of our British and International students have the opportunity to take part in musical, theatrical or sporting activities as well as to participate in trips to cities and places of cultural interest in England and Wales. Accommodation is with carefully chosen host families or in the School Boarding House.

Highlights: The education and wellbeing of our students is paramount and we only accept a maximum of 25 students per term in order to guarantee our personal service. Standards of teaching are high and all courses lead to internationally recognised certification and/or university entrance. In addition, students are encouraged to involve themselves in the programme of extra curricular activities both to further develop their all-round potential and also to maximise their opportunities to practise English speaking amongst native speakers.

Shrewsbury Education Service's Mission Statement: Shrewsbury Education Service organises short or long term High School placements in Central England for international students aged 16-19. Our educational programmes comprise A Level or vocational study at excellent Independent or State schools and ultimately prepare our students for university entrance. Our wide range of traditional and innovative courses is combined with lessons in English as a Foreign Language leading to Cambridge Examinations at all levels. We also provide full pastoral support and accommodation with carefully selected host familes or in boarding school. The normal period of study is from three months up to two years.
