IQRA Institute Programs are unique because they provide different programs for people with different needs and backgrounds, especially the needs of university students. Our Programs are especially successful because they provide complete immersion in Arab language, culture and society. In-class instruction is accompanied by tours, visits, trips, and other activities that enrich the students' learning experience, and enable them to live, learn, and practice the language in authentic settings. Our Programs are very carefully designed, based on consultation of top Arabic instructors in both the East and West. They solve the weaknesses found in other programs, in both program design and teaching methodology, and enable students to become proficient in speaking, reading, and writing Arabic in a very short time. Our Programs are variegated to suit varying student needs and for busy people. - For graduate students, researchers, those studying Arabic culture, society, and history. - Students of Arab Origin Raised in Non-Arab Countries, These programs have proved very effective in building on the language backgrounds of such students and ensuring quick learning and benefit. - For Diplomats and Foreign Employees in the Middle East. - Those of particular language needs (such as understanding modern media and literature, understanding classical Arabic, or strength-ening particular aspects of their language such as grammar, conversation, writing, and so on). - A special program for advanced studies in Arabic Arabic morphology (Sarf), rhetoric (Balagha), Arabic literature (Adab)
Highlights:
IQRA Institute offer General Courses: A- Monthly programs: will be made available to the students three months prior to the beginning of the course. Each program consists of 60 class hours. B- Intensive programs: Although the idea of spending an extended period of time abroad may be appealing, it is not a realistic option for many people. For those that can not spend an extended period of time overseas, IQRA Institute has developed an intensive program which will provide them with all the skills found in the regular programs in a fraction of the time. Intensives are held during all seasons of the year. Students will complete three levels during the 7 weeks of the program. C- Private Courses: Private courses are available for both small groups and individual students. These courses are geared to address the specific needs of a student, whether an emphasis on developing particular skills or simply a matter of scheduling. After meeting with the student and consulting with the administration, the teacher will custom tailor a course of study that will provide for all of the student's needs. Although the cost of private courses varies according the material studied and the amount of class time. Also IQRA Institute offer a special Programs: One-on-one or group instruction. A- Programs for Researchers: Good research skills are hard to come by, which is why IQRA institute employs a staff of academically trained teachers skilled in both modern and traditional methodologies. Whether it be deciphering manuscripts or conducting anthropological surveys, IQRA Institute can provide you with the skills necessary to carry out your research. B- Programs for Diplomats: Diplomats often find that while they may have a decent command of the language, but due to the specialized nature of their jobs they are in need of a specific vocabulary and manner of discourse. IQRA Institute has courses that address the needs of those in the diplomatic service which have been developed through teaching diplomats from a number of European countries. C- Programs for Foreign Employees: Like diplomats, businessmen and foreigners working in the Arab word often find that their jobs require skills and technical vocabulary that they were not previously exposed to. IQRA Institute has specialized programs to help non-Arabic speaking foreigners develop the skills needed in order to communicate with clients and co-workers. Extra Curricular Activities: Weekly visits to historical and cultural sites. Old cities, ruins, old marketplaces, castles, and religious monuments awaits every student to wonder at and to get a glance at the passage of time.
