Description: Studying Spanish in Salamanca, in one of the oldest university cities in the world, is a fantastic way to learn the language. The beautifully preserved historic centre has elegant stone-built faculty buildings, noblemen's houses, cobbled streets and the most magnificent 'Plaza Mayor' in the whole of Spain. The city is unspoilt by mass tourism as it lies off the main tourist route, but still in an idyllic and typically Spanish part of the country with excellent weather all year round. Salamanca is small enough to reach most places by foot but big enough to offer everything you could want from a Spanish city.

Our school is located in the centre of Salamanca, just 5 minutes' walk from the Plaza Mayor, in a beautifully refurbished building. There are 21 air-conditioned classrooms, a large reception area and an Internet room. There is also a large patio, a cafeteria, library and common room. All optional accommodation is within walking distance of the school. If you choose to stay in a host family, this will help you with your language learning, though you may also choose to stay in a student residence, private studio, or shared student apartment.
