The NRCSA center in Bordeaux is committed to meeting the requirements and needs of the French language student. All teachers are qualified to teach French to foreign students (Diplome de Francais Langue Etrangere) and have excellent knowledge of the French culture and civilization. Many of them have lived and taught French abroad and speak several languages, therefore relating easily to different cultures. Together with their enthusiasm and spontaneity, they guarantee lively and effective lessons. The center is recognized by the Rectorate of Bordeaux and is a member of SOUFFLE (the only quality control organization for French language schools and universities in France). French classes are conducted in a spacious three story 19th century building with a common room which leads onto a pleasant garden, and is situated in the heart of Bordeaux's "chic" district. There are 15 bright, air-conditioned classrooms. The central location of the classes provides students with easy access to all that there is to see in Bordeaux either by foot, bike or bus. About Bordeaux "Take Versailles, add Antwerp and you end up with Bordeaux". This is how Victor Hugo described the wine capital. This distinguished city is one of the best preserved 18th century architectural complexes in the world. Its white stone facades, lush gardens, original cobblestone streets and elegant boulevards are just some of the many aspects which seduce visitors and ranks Bordeaux among Europe's most beautiful cities.
