Description:
About the NRCSA Center

Founded in 1983, the NRCSA Center has its own campus in Berlin's trendiest district, Prenzlauer Berg. You´ll find innumerable cafes, galleries and designer stores just next door.

The campus offers 40 classrooms, and courses run on 7 levels all year-round. Like Goethe Institute, GLS is an official testing center for ZD Zertifikat Deutsch. All courses are complemented by after-class-sightseeing in Berlin and by weekend trips to other German cities, i.e. Hamburg, Dresden, Potsdam.

Accommodation is possible both on on site and in Berlin homestays. On campus are 50 studio apartments, all with kitchen, bathroom, TV and phone. Rooms are bookable as single or shared double. The homestay options are a budget alternative, with commuting times between 5 and 50 minutes.

All courses are taught by highly qualified teachers who hold university degrees. Regular teacher training ensures that they always use the latest teaching methods and approaches.

About Berlin

Berlin is a fascinating metropolis in the heart of Europe. Berlin is now, more than before, a remarkable city. Decades of division following World War II and Berlin's special status as Allied-occupied territory have left their enduring mark on the city's life. Circumstances have radically changed since November 9, 1989 and Berlin has moved to the forefront of the international scene. The dismantling of the Wall and the opening of borders have made Berlin today one of Europe's most lively and interesting cities.

Grand palaces, incomparable art museums like the Pergamon and the Bauhaus, innumerable restaurants, a vast and varied music scene and nightlife all make Berlin a unique destination for learning the German language.
