Description: Our Intensive Spanish Program in Mendoza is ideal for university students or travelers looking to learn Spanish rapidly, well, and in an immersion environment.   

The intensive Spanish coures are given at Universidad Nacional de Cuyo. With an average class size of 5-10 students, you will receive personalized attention from the professor and ample opportunity to participate. Class is Monday-Friday, 3 hours/day, for a total of 60 hours of instruction/month. Some subjects covered in the course include: phonetics, pronunciation, reading, comprehension, writing skills, and grammar. Program duration is 1 to 3 months.

Taking Spanish courses with us allows you to transfer an average of 9-12 credits to your home university.

University credit available for all levels and courses.

Courses:

- Beginner: The student will be able to understand, ask and answer questions. You will be able to converse using simple sentences on general, everyday topics.

- Intermediate: The student will be able to understand most questions and statements at normal speaking rate and to converse with a native speaker on more specific or technical subjects.

- Advanced: The student will be able to use Spanish efficiently, with a vocabulary and fluency which give competency in speaking and writing in academic, professional, formal and informal situations. The student will be able to understand more complex conversations.

Highlights: Founded in 1939, the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo boasts 12 schools and over 37,000 students and is located in the City of Mendoza, 750 meters above sea level, in the foothills of the Andes mountains. One of Argentina's primary tourist destinations, the province of Mendoza produces the majority of Argentina's famous wines and also offers a wide range of adventure sports.   

Road2Argentina is now offering scholarships for our semester, volunteer, Spanish immersion, and internship programs. The scholarships are merit-based and are open to any program participant.
