Our school is located in the heart of Madrid in a 19th century palace with exceptional architectural features, and beside the Parliament, the Retiro Park, the Prado Museum, the Reina Sofía Modern Art Museum and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Gallery. The school has 14 air-conditioned classrooms, a garden-courtyard, a multimedia room, library and catering area.

TANDEM, Escuela Internacional is also committed to making this a better world and collaborates with the NGO Ayuda en Acción by donating 0.7% of its turnover to educational projects in Developing Countries.

Our linguistic exchange partner program with Spaniards provides our students with the opportunity to get closer to the "Spanish way of life" and to practise what is learned in class. TANDEM Partners is an effective and personal way of learning, while at the same time a means of making new friends.

Highlights:
** Summer Senior Program

TANDEM, Escuela Internacional's Summer Program at San Lorenzo de El Escorial is designed for people of 45 years and over who are studying Spanish and want to have an enriching experience for 1 or 2 weeks in a quiet environment.

The program includes 4 hours of class a day, an extensive and interesting cultural program with gastronomic routes, visits to museums, walks in the countryside, concerts in the town's auditorium, theater outings and excursions to Madrid and neighboring towns.

Accommodation in a hotel in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, in a double or single room with private bathroom, hydro massage and breakfast.

During the month of July, for one, two or three weeks.

** Summer Junior Program

TANDEM Escuela Internacional Madrid's Summer School is designed for 14 to 17 year-olds who are learning Spanish and want to have an enriching and fun experience for 2 or 4 weeks in the city of Madrid.

The program includes four 45-minute Spanish classes at our school, together with other students of the same age from a variety of countries, evening activities, such as visits to Madrid's most emblematic landmarks ( the Plaza Mayor, the Puerta del Sol...), as well as open air concerts and movies .

Accommodation in a university residence, 15 minutes from the school by subway or bus, in a single, air-conditioned room, with a study room, weekly laundry service, breakfast and lunch. Accommodation with a Spanish family on a half-board basis available on request.

From mid June to the end of July, two or four weeks.

** Year Round Group Program

The program consists of at least one week of Spanish classes combined with daily cultural activities that require the use of the target language.In addition, we organize accommodation for students with Spanish families in a double room on a half-board basis. Other accommodation options are also available.
