Description: Come to Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada to learn and study English. Kingston is a small, historic and safe city about two to three hours by car or train to Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal. Queen's is one of Canada's top-ranked Universities. You can learn to speak and write the English language with us.

You may study full-time in these School of English programs:

* 12-Week English for Academic Purposes (EAP)
* 13-Week Business Internship Program (BIP)
* 4-Week Short-term Summer English as a Second Language (ESL)
* International Teaching English as a Second Language (ITESL)
   
The School has pioneered the creation of a Business Internship Program, in which students gain classroom and workplace experience, allowing them to develop their English language skills in a professional Canadian context.

The School also offers part-time courses, such as Business English, Pronunciation and Conversation, and TESL/TEFL (Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language).
The School of English is part of the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen's. The School has been in continuous operation since 1942, making it one of the longest-established schools of its kind in Canada.

    Students enrolled in our full-time programs have access to Queen's facilities including the Physical Education Centre and the Library. A city bus pass will also be provided.
