Group Programmes (16-75 years). You benefit from a minimum of 15 hours (20 lessons) per week tuition in small friendly groups at one of our Institutes, with cultural visits and leisure activities. In order to maintain linguistic and cultural continuity, accommodation is with a selected, local host family. Studio apartments are also available. Open all year, with and special programmes during the summer. Beautiful San Francisco, the "City by the Bay", is one of the most elegant and exciting cities in the world. It is located on a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay. Its Chinatown, Japan town, Italian District, Golden Gate Park, Haigth Astbury, Marina District and cable cars make San Francisco culturally diverse, dynamic and unforgettable. More than 3000 restaurants offer food from all over the world. San Francisco also has one of the best public transportation systems in the United States. Whatever you taste, there is something for you in San Francisco! Live music, dancing, concerts, nightclubs, street fairs and parades are everywhere. Our classes (maximum 10 students) take place in the mornings (09h00 - 13h00) and emphasize communication skills and the natural use of English in an everyday setting: discussion, listening, comprehension, grammar, idiomatic expression and role-playing as well as reading and writing. We offer 10 levels from beginner to high-advanced as well as preparing students for the TOEFL (6 weeks) and Cambridge Examinations (12 weeks).

Centrally located in the financial district, near to several famous art museums, including the Museum of Modern Art. Some of the world's best shopping is only 4 blocks away at Union Square. The Institute is on all the major bus and subway lines including MUNI, BART and Golden Gate Transit. The Ferry Building, with ferryboat access to Sausalito and Oakland, is only a ten-minute walk from the Institute. Eurolingua study abroad language programmes are available all year round in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish and in 35 different countries where these languages are spoken. Every year, students of all ages (16-75 years), and from many countries and professions, attend Eurolingua's numerous language, cultural, special interest and summer programmes worldwide. Students include private individuals, mature teenagers, university and MBA students, teachers, doctors, professional and business people, corporate executives, diplomats and embassy staff, government employees, military personnel and retired people.
