Description: Our Educational Center, located in the city of Novosibirsk, Siberia, Russia, offers high quality Russian language and cultural study programs for international students of all ages and language levels, provides volunteer opportunities, runs summer schools and winter camps for children, teenagers and adult learners, organizes tourist programs.

Our Russian Studies programmes are aimed at achieving practical fluency and confidence in the use of the Russian language with the focus on the integration of all the four language learning components and skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and the emphasis on communication. All our teachers are well-educated and qualified to teach Russian to foreigners. You can expect a warm and friendly atmosphere along with professional service.

The objective of the course is for students to acquire proficiency in spoken and written Russian, focusing particularly on grammatical accuracy and oral communication in practical settings.

The Russian Course outline:

- development of proper pronunciation and intonation habits,
- acquiring communicative speech skills and development of the student's oral comprehension,
- systematical study of essential Russian grammar, lexical and grammar phrase formation, use of proper sentence structure,
- vocabulary expansion, vocabulary being introduced gradually and systematically,
- accumulation of the cultural country knowledge with the aim of understanding social background,
- reading and comprehension of the Russian texts,
- building up writing skills.

A wide variety of contemporary Russian-language materials is used. Each student is provided with educational materials.

Highlights: Peculiarity of our courses consists in combination of individual intensive tuition and extensive social and cultural programs, and this is what makes our Russian studies programs different from the ones offered by other schools. In addition to the in-class individual tuition our standard course also includes dynamic "live and learn" intercultural conversational sessions, which take place outside of the classroom and are designed so that students must use the Russian that they have been learning in class, but in real-life situations. This is a unique opportunity for students to build their confidence in the language and gain insights into the society. This part of the programme is very intensive, effective, and fun. It gives you an excellent opportunity to experience different parts of the city and activities you might miss otherwise. You will be able to hear and use Russian in "the real world", with your own personal instructor to help you and make sure this is common and useful language that will really have you feeling like part of the community.

In addition to learning the Russian language, the cultural program of the school is an extraodinarily enriching and rewarding experience. Our program coordinator works individually with each student to organize various after-class activities and provide extensive weekend leisure options for the students. Within the Russian studies program tours of the city and visits to museums/galleries/theaters/concert halls, etc. are scheduled every week.

All types of accommodation (a hotel, a hostel, an apartment, and homestay accommodation) can be organized at your choice and request.
