Since 1988, Escuela Internacional has become a leading organization in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. Today we are proud of the fact that the majority of students come to Escuela Internacional as a result of recommendations from former students. Escuela Internacional has received the CEELE seal of approval through the University of Alcala and is also an Instituto Cervantes' accredited school. Intensive Spanish Courses are offered year round for all levels from beginner to advanced. Flexible starting dates allow students to enroll any time of the year. Small groups of 10 students or less allow students rapid progress. Special Summer programs that include activities are offered. Alcala de Henares, located 30 minutes from Madrid by train, and designated as a "Cultural Heritage City" by UNESCO due to its historical university, cultural and literary tradition, is a perfect location to be immersed in the Spanish culture. A small town atmosphere, yet very close to all the excitment Madrid has to offer.
Highlights:
* Intensive and Super Intensive Spanish langauge courses (20 or 30 Spanish lessons per week respectively) are offered year round. Courses start every Monday for all levels (except full beginners, see web site for details).
* Accommodations with specially selected local host families or in aparments are available.
* Comprehensive acitivity and excursion programs allow students to experience Spanish culture first hand.
