Description:
With the opportunity to combine Spanish classes with yoga, surfing or fire dancing lessons, La Escuela Del Sol is more than just a Spanish immersion program...it's a tropical adventure! In addition to offering a top of the line education (college credit is available for the Spanish program), program fees include a waterfall hike to the nearby, 75 foot waterfalls, a nighttime, giant turtle, egg laying tour and a choice between a zip line canopy tour and a horseback ride to private waterfalls. In addition, students are given the opportunity to explore and enjoy the surrounding areas with more exhilarating local excursions. Scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking and salsa dancing are among many of the activities which students enjoy. Of course, all tour operators recommended by La Escuela Del Sol meet a high standard of professionalism, safety and all out fun. As for location...the school is right across the street from the ocean and just minutes walk from one of the most beautiful beaches you'll ever see. On one side of the hotel, La Escuela Del Sol grazes the Montezuma river, which leads to three separate waterfalls. On the other side, it's nestled by the tropical rain forest. Many times, you'll walk out of your room to see monkeys swinging in the trees and multi-colored birds you've never imagined. Program fees include accommodations, classes, learning materials, waterfall hike, guided nighttime turtle egg laying tour (in season) and choice of horseback riding or zip line canopy tour.
