Levels: Elementary and above * Standard[Day] These courses takes place from Monday to Friday between 9h00 - 12h00. Our popular standard course with emphasis on everyday English. The focus is on practical communication skills, with emphasis on speaking, including pronunciation and listening. New language - vocabulary, colloquial English, idioms, grammar - is introduced and practiced in interesting and stimulating ways to achieve fluency in everyday English. Levels: All * Standard [Afternoon] These courses takes place from Monday to Friday between 13h00 - 16h00. An economy afternoon course with emphasis on everyday English. The focus is on practical communication skills, with emphasis on speaking, including pronunciation and listening. New language - vocabulary, colloquial English, idioms, grammar - is introduced and practiced in interesting and stimulating ways to achieve fluency in everyday English. Levels: Elementary and above * Standard [Evening] These courses takes place from Monday to Friday between 15h00 - 18h00 or 16h00 - 19h00. Class hours are assigned on the first day. An economy afternoon course with emphasis on everyday English. The focus is on practical communication skills, with emphasis on speaking, including pronunciation and listening. New language - vocabulary, colloquial English, idioms, grammar - is introduced and practiced in interesting and stimulating ways to achieve fluency in everyday English. Levels: Elementary and above * Standard Plus [Day] These courses takes place from Monday to Friday from 9h00 - 13h00. It is made up of Standard English classes in the morning followed by an extra hour of Conversation. A very popular course with focus on improving speaking skills. General English: the focus is on practical communication skills, with emphasis on speaking, including pronunciation and listening. New language - vocabulary, colloquial English, idioms, grammar - is introduced and practiced in interesting and stimulating ways to achieve fluency in everyday English. Extra Conversation to help you develop fluency in a friendly, informal atmosphere with experienced and sympathetic teachers. Interesting topics are discussed with time for correction and feedback. Extra Conversation only has participants of 6-10 students total Levels: All * Standard Plus[Afternoon] These courses takes place from Monday to Friday from 12h00 - 16h00. It is made up of an hour of Conversation class in the afternoon followed by Standard English classes. This economy course focuses on improving speaking skills. It allows for students to choose from the list of courses that we offer in our schools and distribute the learning experience among the different locations. It is made up of Standard English classes in the morning followed by an extra 2 hours of English for Business. Perfect for people who are planning a business career or pursuing business studies. Students may prepare for the Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC). General English: the focus is on practical communication skills, with emphasis on speaking, including pronunciation and listening. New language - vocabulary, colloquial English, idioms, grammar - is introduced and practiced in interesting and stimulating ways to achieve fluency in everyday English. English for Business covers the business language used in areas such as marketing, financial services and management. It also develops the speaking and writing skills for English as an international language at work, including letter and report writing, presentations and meetings. This course can be used to prepare for the Cambridge Business English Certificates (BEC). The BEC is a practical exam for an international business examination. We offer two levels which each test the skills reading, writing, listening and speaking for real-world business situations: i. Upper Intermediate (Level 2) ii. Advanced (Level 3) This exam can help provide you with greater confidence in working in an international business environment. It is accepted for entry to some US and UK universities for business-related degrees. TOEIC is a 200-item multiple choice test with students being awarded a score between 10-990; there is no pass or fail. It measures English language proficiency in the work environment, unlike other exams which focus on English as it is used in an academic environment. Multi-national corporations, government agencies, and other public and private organizations use TOEIC for purposes such as: recruitment, assignment to overseas posts requiring English language proficiency, assignments or promotion within a department where English is needed or desirable, and to identify employees who know English sufficiently well to benefit from corporate training programs abroad. This course takes place from Monday to Friday from 13h00 - 15h00 for a period of 4 weeks.. It can can be combined with Standard English[Day) or Standard English[Evening]. The preparation course covers strategies to maximize your score in the examination. It tests you on the English language as used internationally in business, commerce and industry but you do not need specialized business knowledge or vocabulary. Exam covers these 2 sections; Listening Comprehension and Reading. Each section contains 100 questions. You can also use practice tests at each of the study centers at each school. Standard English: the focus is on practical communication skills, with emphasis on speaking, including pronunciation and listening. New language - vocabulary, colloquial English, idioms, grammar - is introduced and practiced in interesting and stimulating ways to achieve fluency in everyday English. Social English: you will learn language useful for your everyday social, study or work life - taking part in discussions, conversations, presenting information and telephoning. At lower levels, dialogues and conversations enable students to practice survival language for everyday use. At higher levels new language input is followed by discussions and presentations of cross-cultural and international topics. Levels: Elementary and above * Christmas English Program Have you always wanted to know what Christmas and the New Year is like in London? This is your chance to spend an unforgettable time during these days with us! A Standard English course and an exciting activity program enables you to enjoy the Christmas tradition in London. In this Standard English course the focus is on spoken English. New language - vocabulary, colloquial English and grammar - is introduced and practiced. There are also lessons about British life and traditions at this time of the year. London is beautiful in this season and there are special sightseeing and social events during the course including a theatre visit, a carol concert and Christmas shopping.
