Description:
Earn your TEFL certification in our intensive, unique and face-to-face TEFL course, which will prepare you to teach English here in Costa Rica or anywhere in the world. Immerse yourself in Costa Rica culture and Spanish language while studying Spanish with Intercultura before or after the TEFL course. Receive a 10% discount on Spanish classes and homestay and receive free cultural activities such as dance classes, cooking classes and more.
Highlights:
We offer an intensive 40 hour per week, 160 hour TEFL course whose expert teacher trainers, with over 10 years of teaching experience in Costa Rica and around the world, offer an unique course which will qualify trainees to teach English here in Costa Rica or anywhere in the world. Trainees complete over 10 teaching practice hours, 8 hours of training in ESP (English for Specific Purposes) and 5 hours of foreign language classes. This allows trainees to experience completely the learning process as both students and teachers. Trainees are giving job placement assistance, interview preparation and prepare a portfolio of the work they create during the course to be used in the interview process and in their future EFL/ESL classroom. Trainees have the opportunity to participate in Intercultura's intensive Spanish immersion program before or after the TEFL course. They are also given the opportunity to participate in free cultural activities such as Latin dance class, cooking class, arts & crafts class and live with a Costa Rican family in order to completely immerse themselves in the "pura vida" lifestyle.
