Description: GEOS English Academy Honolulu, located on the 6th floor just one block from beautiful Waikiki Beach in the Duty Free Galleria Building, is part of the GEOS family of over 550 language schools worldwide. GEOS provides quality language courses in a comfortable atmosphere. We offer full time and part time English as a Second Language (ESL) and TOEFL iBT and TOEIC Preparation courses as well as Japanese language lessons at our school in the heart of Waikiki. We also offer English + Surfing program and Seasonal Kids Program.

GEOS English Academy, Honolulu is accredited by ACCET and authorized under federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students.

Highlights: For full-time international students, our Intensive English Course can help you improve your English speaking and listening skills, learn new vocabulary, and improve your reading and writing. Part-time study is also available. In addition to an interesting in-class experience, our after school activities calendar is full of fun filled activities to help practice your English skills outside the classroom with students from other classes. School activities, trips, parties, movie day, coffee-talk, and more just for you each month - only at GEOS.

There is no better way to learn about another culture than to become part of a local family. GEOS can place students with friendly and caring American families. GEOS families have many years of experience with international students. They live in several different beautiful areas on the island. Homemade breakfast and dinner are provided each day. Homestay allows students to learn about American and Hawaiian culture while practicing your English.

Courses available at GEOS:

* TOEFL Preparation
A course of study designed to assist students in preparing for the Test of English as a Foreign Language, a test that is used by many colleges and universities to assess the English competency of adult students. The objectives of this course are to improve each student's oral, writing and reading skills and to improve their test scores on sample TOEFL exams as measured by commercially available sample TOEFL tests. The TOEFL Preparation is an excellent course to take for students planning to enter U.S. colleges and universities.

* Private/Semi Private Tutoring         
In one-on-one private tutoring you can receive individual attention, personalized lessons, and convenient schedule designed just for you. Our semi-private tutoring can be arranged for you and your friends or family members of the same English level to study together. Good for two-three students. This program is suited for people with busy schedule and a short term goal.

* Seasonal Kids and Teen Holiday Group                              
Our Junior Holiday Group is ideal for low teens 13 to 17 and Kids Holiday Course is for 6 to 12 years old students. Both courses have an exciting mix of half day activities, excursions, and English Classes. With open enrollment, individuals from all over the world can join our program to experience the best of Hawaii and make new international friends.

* English + Surfing
The program is designed for students who are sports lovers and would like improve their English skills on their summer vacation in Honolulu. Students can take the advantage of Hawaii's wonderful waves and golden beaches to learn to surf. And we are very proud of our teaching staff at GEOS, Honolulu. Our instructors are experienced professionals who have lived and taught English around the world. They understand the needs of international students and they are dedicated to helping each student become a confident English speaker.
