Want to have quality education at an affordable price? The AUA Language Center is a binational organization, opened in 1952 at it's main campus in Bangkok. It's primary purpose is providing English instruction of the highest quality. AUA has also been working in conjunction with Burapha University since 1996 providing English language training to the local community. * The Regular English Course The Regular Course consists of 15 levels and 2 pre-level; each level is 30 hours of tuition. A graduate of level 15 is considered to have skills equivalent to an upper intermediate speaker. Instruction is based on the communicative approach to language learning a natural approach, which emphasizes speaking and listening skills. There are seven terms each year see the schedule below. Students are gateway tested at levels 4, 8 and 12; there is graduation test after level 15. If a student fails a test they can continue at a lower level for one term and take the test again at the end of that term. * Thai Language Course We have Thai Language instruction with teachers who speak English although Thai is used as much as possible. Classes consists of various levels from beginner to upper intermediate. It covers speaking, listening, reading and writing in Thai. Includes 40 hours of tuition and costs 4,450 baht books. Highlights:
AUA Pattaya is situated in the Pattaya Bazaar shopping mall, at the Dolphin roundabout, north Pattaya. Close to the Amari and Dusit Resorts, the City Hall and a few minutes walk from the beach. The school is unusual, for AUA, in that it is not located within an educational establishment. It is free standing and draws students, mainly, from the local hotel and leisure sectors.

AUA Language Center - Pattaya's Mission Statement: AUA Language Center, often simply referred to as AUA, was established as a binational center in 1952 to "promote further mutual understanding between the people of Thailand and the United States through instruction in their respective languages, customs and traditions". Both English and Thai are taught at the main center, located in the heart of Bangkok on Ratchadamri Road. The Language Center is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious organization, governed by a board of Thai and American members.
