Description: Education System

In our language school, a world-renowned, teacher-centered, 6-levels interactive education model is applied. In this model, we include mainly North American English, but also all different usages, considering that English learners should learn the usages from different parts of the world. At the first 4 levels, General English, and at the later 2 levels an Academic English education is given. Our courses are designed to help students practice all aspects of the English language with an emphasis on oral fluency and progress systematically. Our lessons include a balance of activities focusing on the key areas of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation as well as development of the students' skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Levels are listed below:

1. Beginner
2. Elementary
3. Pre-Intermediate
4. Intermediate
5. Upper-Intermediate
6. Advanced

Each level takes between 8 to 15 weeks to finish, based on program schedules. Course materials are given free of charge at the time of enrollment.

A quiz is given after 15 hours, and a final after 30 hours. The student must achieve 70% in order to pass to the next level. Attendance, being active during the lessons and the tests are also important.

A healthy education is only possible in classes which are suited to your level. Students of English Time are put in the most suitable levels after a detailed assessment test. A 6-level education system. Each level consists of 120 lessons. Mini-quizzes during the course, a midterm test in the middle, and a final test at the end of the course are conducted.

A language can best be learned from a native speaker, but only if they are educated and certified.

English Time chooses its entire teaching staff from degreed teachers and displays the diplomas in their administrative offices. Each teacher's resume is carefully inspected and researched.

Levels:

Beginner
For the student who has no or little knowledge of English. The students have intensive grammar, writing, speaking, listening, and vocabulary studies in class.

End of level: Students can have conversations with foreigners on simple subjects, and can read and write using simple sentences.

Elementary
This is for the student who can complete the requirements of beginner level and can speak English to some extent.

End of level: Students can talk to foreigners about simple subjects, read paragraphs and can read and understand simple topics.

Pre- Intermediate
This is for the student who can complete the requirements of elementary level, and can speak English to some extent.

End of level: Students can communicate with foreigners using simple English in daily life, can build complicated sentences and can write meaningful paragraphs.

Intermediate
This is for the student who can complete the requirements of pre-intermediate level, and can speak English to the extent fluently.

End of level: Students can have long conversations with native speakers in many different subjects, can write using complicated sentences, and can understand what they read easily.

Upper-Intermediate
This is for the student who can complete the requirements of intermediate level, and can speak English in a somewhat fluent manner.

End of level: Students can have long conversations on various different subjects, can build long and meaningful sentences, and can read and understand original books.

Advanced
This is for the student who can complete the requirements of upper-intermediate level and can use English at a high level.End of level: Students can talk to and discuss various topics with native speakers. They don't have problems with communication. The duration of courses depending on the intensity of the programs is 2 or 4 months.

Success Guarantee
A placement test is applied for our students who are newly registered, or have an extended break from their studies at English Time Language School in order for them to receive an effective education and to be placed at a suitable level. Tests applied are a 60 minute "placement test" which consists of 100 multiple-choice questions from easy to difficult with emphasis on grammar and reading.

Teaching Staff
The education in our language school is given by experienced, degreed and certified native speaking teachers whom are capable of teaching English to adults learning English as a second language. They make learning fun by using audiovisual devices.

Privileges of studying at English Time
In order to provide one-to-one communication with the student and the learning process to be effective, classes are formed with 16 students at English Time. Upon request of the English time students, chances to study at Las Vegas, England and Canada branches are granted. Based on our teacher-based interactive educational system, a U-shaped in-class sitting plan which proved most effective was approved, so students will have no problems interacting with their teachers and classmates. Plus, it's been scientifically proved that this type of sitting plan is successful in terms of following what is written on the board and dialogues.

Also, in English Time, we offer TOEFL exam preparatory course.

General English and Business English for companies, English for Special Purpose (ESP) for companies, fluency and special intensive learning for executives (VIP English) programs are also offered.
