Term: Academic Year, Summer, Throughout the year

Description: Saratov International Language School (SILS) is the structure of Saratov State Technical University. International Language School is a place where international students could learn Russian language, Russian history, cultural and social sciences and make friends with many Russian and other international students.

SILS summer classes start in June and finish in September. Being in Saratov during the most enjoyable time of the year - summer - gives you a chance to explore the 410-year old city and other beautiful places along the Volga River - the Great Russian River. Don't loose the opportunity to submerge yourself in a totally different, rich and diverse culture.

Although you are able to get enrolled in the SILS during the whole year. The courses are developed for students of 18 years old or older of different language levels - from beginners to advanced. Applicants under 18 years who would like to attend the school should contact the Administration directly .

Saratov International Language School (also called - SILS) has existed since 1993. Every year it provides different courses for students from many countries of the world: USA, France, Ireland, Germany, Canada, Israel, Denmark, Poland, Spain, and others.

There were no foreign visitors in Saratov for more than 70 years because of the city's special status during the Soviet times. Although today Saratov citizens welcome the visitors and are happy to share their social and cultural experience. We believe that learning language through communication with native-speakers is the best way to develop the advanced language skills.
