Description: We offer Chinese language programs that enable international students to be fluent in the Chinese language. Participants range from the beginners to the advanced, who need a strong foundation in the language for various careers throughout the world, who are interested in Chinese culture, or who simply intend to live and travel in China. Apart from the language programs, elective courses such as Kungfu (Chinese martial arts), Chinese painting, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese traditional musical instruments, Beijing opera, etc. are also available.

Highlights:
I. Long-term Chinese Program:

Long-term Programs are designed for those international students who would like to study the Chinese language for 1 to 4 semesters (i.e. half a year, or 1 year, or 1 and a half year, or 2 years) for any purposes such as their career, business or interest in the Chinese language, etc.

II. Short-term Chinese Program:

Short - term Chinese Program is designed for those international students who   would like to study the Chinese language for a short period of time from just 2 weeks to 12 weeks.

III. Mini Class Chinese Program:

Mini-class Chinese Program is designed for those international students who would like take a private or smaller class, or whose proficiency level of the Chinese language does not fit into any of the regular classes. The students may take the program for any length at their own choice (Class size of the mini class   depends on the number of students (of about the same level of the Chinese language) on 1 teacher. It can be 1 on 1; 2 on 1, 3 on 1, 4 on 1 or 5 on 1.

IV. Bachelor's Degree Program:

Bachelor's Degree Program is designed for those international students who'd like to study the Chinese language systematically for 4 years for a Bachelor's degree.

Chinese Language Ceter for International Students's Mission Statement: The College of International Education (CIE) at Tianjin University of Technology (TUT) is a school established especially for recruiting international students for TUT, offering programs in Chinese language study. Apart from the language programs, international students can also learn Wushu (Chinese martial arts), Chinese painting, Chinese calligraphy, Beijing opera, etc., and take rewarding tours throughout China to experience the unique Chinese culture. The International Student Office of CIE will help you with application and admission, entry visa, registration, course selection, housing, and residence formalities in China.
