Description: Our Intensive Spanish and cultural programs offers 12 different Intensive (4 week/80 hours) courses in Spanish grammar, conversation and composition. The use of authentic and practical contexts facilitates the acquisition of vocabulary and grammatical structure. Students are coached in the analysis of linguistic and extra linguistic elements during the reading and writing practices. Evaluation system in all Spanish courses integrates convergent (grammatical structure) and divergent (global use of language) techniques in test procedures. All levels evaluate oral, listening, reading and writing assignments.

Our planned excursions will allow you to see the spectacular places of Costa Rica!

Highlights: Learn Spanish Abroad provides Foreign Language students as well as anyone fifteen years of age and older with a unique opportunity to become immersed in the language and culture of Costa Rica.

If nature allows it you will see a once in a lifetime show. Clouds of smoke and red-hot lava emerge through the crater of the Arenal volcano. Take a dip in the hot springs found all around the area, relax and benefit from the healing effects of the minerals in the water.

Enjoy the majesty of the Arenal volcano and the wide variety of birds and mammals that take refuge in the artificial lake.

Listen to the rustling of the animals and feel the fresh breeze. A paradise for anyone who loves nature.
