Learn German in Bamberg
Germany
Dates: Please visit our website.
Description:
Learning German abroad in Bamberg, Germany is one of many language immersion programs offered by AmeriSpan. Germany is a historical yet modern country, split into sharply defined regions. Each region maintains its distinctive character with its own dialect, traditional dress and foods. Germany's many modern cities stem from the time when it consisted of countless small states. North Germany has the delightful old seafaring ports, east is the beautiful cultural centers and south is the alluring Black Forest and those boisterous Bavarian beer halls. Along the Rhine and Moselle Rivers are picturesque castles and steep, terraced vineyards. From Frankfurt to Bremen runs a trail of villages that helped inspire the Grimm Brother's fairy tales. Learn German Language in Germany: Bamberg is located in northern Bavaria and is considered one of the most romantic of German cities. It is a thousand-year cultural and architectural site consisting of 2,300 buildings that is lively and multifaceted and was declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Full of small and winding alleys and tranquil areas along the rives and in the many parks, Bamberg is a city with an original character and a very special atmosphere. 10% of the population of 100,000 attends University, and a youthful atmosphere can be felt all over the town, offering many bars, pubs and restaurants and incidentally the highest concentration of beer breweries in the world! For culture enthusiasts there are music, theater and cinema performances every day of the year. German School Facilities: The school is located in the downtown area of Bamberg in a renovated 3 story building, very close to coffee shops, restaurants, markets and the University. It has 8 spacious classrooms with a great view to the main street and the river. There is also an office and meeting room, a teacher's room and a study room. 4 computers available with internet access for the students and WLAN. Capacity is 65 students/day.

AmeriSpan Study Abroad's Mission Statement: Our mantra is "Every Language, Every Culture, Everywhere." AmeriSpan Study Abroad has over 15 years experience and over 30,000 past participants. Our staff has three passions: language, culture, and travel. Individually and as a group, we have accumulated experiences and knowledge related to these passions. AmeriSpan's staff has traveled to more than 65 countries, every continent except Antarctica, speak 10 languages, and we are happy to share this enormous amount of relevant knowledge with you. Every staff member has studied and/or lived abroad for extended periods of time. We are neither a language school nor a travel agent, we're a hybrid of the two: a language travel organization. AmeriSpan has evaluated hundreds of schools, host families and destinations to determine which programs to offer, and our independence allows us to give you unbiased evaluations of these programs.
Our pledge to our participants is to make going abroad 'worry-free'. There is no risk in choosing an AmeriSpan program because you'll get the best program, best price and can cancel for any reason and get a full refund on every dollar we have received for your program.
