Description:
There is no better place to learn Italian language than in Italy! According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Italian is the fourth most spoken language in U.S. homes. Italy is a world leader in the culinary arts, interior design, fashion, graphic design, furniture design, machine tool manufacturing, robotics, electromechanical machinery, shipbuilding, space engineering, construction machinery, and transportation equipment. Those who plan to have careers in such fields will benefit greatly from studying the language and understanding the culture here. Knowledge of Italian is vital to understand the contexts of these aforementioned fields. Italy is one of the five top economies in the world. More and more, companies are seeking people who speak Italian. As the world moves towards a global marketplace, the importance of speaking another language becomes more and more pertinent. Sorrento Lingue offers group, individual, and other custom-tailored programs for students with more specific needs (i.e., Italian academia preparation, business Italian). In addition to classroom instruction, the SL local community offers students the opportunity to practice their language skills. Students are exposed daily to Italian native speakers, this immersion is important for building language skills. This is not only the perfect way to learn the language, but also to develop life-long friendships with Italians. We believe this is one of the biggest advantages of the Sorrento Lingue experience.
