Founded in 1989, Enforex is the largest organization in Spain & Latin America specialized in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Spanish School in Playa Jacó, Costa Rica Our school in Jacó is located just 7 blocks from the beach in a pleasant residential neighborhood. You'll find everything you need - restaurants, grocery stores, calling & Internet centers, drugstores, bicycle shops and more - within walking distance. The building is a typical Costa Rican house with a 900m2 tropical garden, terrace and small swimming pool. Facilities include 4 indoor classrooms, an outdoor patio used for classes, 3 bathrooms and a kitchen area. Students have free internet access from 9:30am to 2pm. Playa Jaco, located on Costa Rica's central Pacific coast, is famous for its wicked waves and spectacular surf scene. Jacó is a straight-up beach town with shops, restaurants, nightlife and accommodations all conveniently set up near the water. More and more local "Ticos" and international travelers are attracted to the area's rich natural surroundings and lively nocturnal scene every year. As a result, Playa Jacó has become adept at catering to tourists, offering the best infrastructure on the Pacific Coast. The town also hosts exciting international surf contests. If you're interested in filling your free time with every imaginable aquatic or land activity like kayaking, horseback riding, biking, fishing, hiking, canopy tours and of course, surfing, all the while meeting new people from all over the world, then look no further. Getting here is an easy 1.5-hour drive from the San José International Airport. Costa Rica Cultural Activities Cultural activities take place in the library 2-3 times per week, and once a month we invite you to celebrate "cultural week" with special events. Some activities are free, but the average price for an afternoon excursion is USD30. The most common activities are: * Latin dance classes (salsa, merengue and cumbia) * Trips to local beaches * Literature or handicrafts workshops Costa Rica Excursions Our Spanish schools in Flamingo Beach, Monteverde and Heredia, Costa Rica offer excursions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and weekends. Weekend excursions may cost between USD145 and USD185.
