Description: Allow us to present the program of the English Academy, a renowned private language school, specialized in customized language lessons which are tailored to suit the individual needs of our students.

Our aim is to help you communicate in a spontaneous and natural manner. We'll analyse your current level, your needs, your availability and your budget so as to offer you a wide range of possibilities: individual or group lessons, given in our school or at your office, with flexible or fixed times, specialized or general language courses, on an intensive or a long-term basis.

We have a team of "native speakers", who all teach their mother tongue. They are motivated linguists with a specialized university education. It is logical, for example, that an English class be given by an Englishman or an American and not by a Belgian. A native speaker is able to provide a wealth of useful information concerning local cultural habits or business practices in the native speaker's country.

These specialized language instructors also have extensive experience teaching their language as a foreign language:this enables them to evaluate the progress of each participant and to adapt the program as required. The expertise and motivation of our teachers are what gives our school such flexibility.

Furthermore, our language instructors are supervised by our school which evaluates and helps them apply the most advanced teaching techniques as well as presenting them with new teaching manuals.

In other words, they all meet our criteria: qualified, experienced, flexible, with the ability to get their message across to students. Their aim is your aim: to help you learn to express yourself in the new language as quickly as possible so that you are well-prepared for tomorrow's society.

Highlights: The success of the English Academy is based on the principle that the best way to learn a foreign language is to speak it and hear it. We put together all the elements required to establish an active conversation between the teacher and the students, adapted to their specific needs. In other words, we do not use the traditional method based on a more theoretical grammar and translation approach.

We offer personalized and interactive lessons, oriented towards using the language. With the exception of beginner levels, lessons are given entirely in the language studied.

In this way, participants learn to think in the new language and quickly make use of appropriate idiomatic expressions. This approach - with immediate correction by our language teachers - forms the underlying foundation upon which our method is built and is the key to our success.

We have a library of more than one hundred different books, CD's and cassettes (audio and video). We have also developed our own teaching material. All this is an essential part of the lessons given at the English Academy and gives them structure. It may also be used to revise grammar and vocabulary between lessons.

The choice of material is made by carefully taking the level and needs of the student into account. This is because the student remains the central element in the language class.
