Description: Language Study Center "Zlatoust" based on the Publishing House "Zlatoust" provides Russian Language Courses, established more than 16 years ago.

High academic standards, teaching based on individual approach to every our student and the warm welcome from local people make Russian study in Saint-Petersburg a special experience.

Educational programs of the Center are carefully designed and have been tested in student classrooms. We have materials for teaching Russian as a foreign language of all kinds (books, audio- and videocassettes, CD), of all educational levels (from beginners to proficiency).

Our stuff-teachers are the authors of the popular teaching materials published in our Publishing House. They are very famous in the sphere of Russian as a Foreign Language. So our students have the brilliant opportunity to get their knowledge at the very first hand.
Our teachers are from the best higher educational institutions of our city. Many of them are from the State St.Petersburg University. They have scientific educational degrees (Ph.D.).

Programs
We provide standard, intensive and business course. Our Publishing House has got exclusive rights of publishing materials of the Russian State - Testing System, so we're entitled to train the students for passing the exams for the Level - Certificate "Russian as a foreign language" that of the international standard, admitted by the ALTE (Association of Language Testers Europe).

Program may be determined on the basis of the entrance testing. On leaving there's also possible testing with the tests of the Russian State Testing System. Speaking with the students and listening to their requests a teacher will be able to choose those teaching materials and topics necessary for their course of studying and to recommend them some others to improve their knowledge in the future.

Educational materials
We have materials for teaching Russian as a foreign language of all kinds (textbooks, courses for oral practice, grammar textbooks, readers, testing materials, CD, etc.), of all educational levels (from the elementary up to the professional philological level).

Course for Teachers
A special part of our educational program is taken by the courses of improvement of Russian teachers' professional skills. The Study Center regularly arranges teachers training seminars, presentations of new teaching materials, published in our Publishing House, and meetings with the authors of popular books. Teachers may share their experience, learn about new trends in methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language, buy new books.
Seminars are hold by the qualified specialists in Russian language. Many of them are the authors of the popular teaching materials in Russian as a foreign language. No matter whether you are a student or you are a teacher you may have the brilliant opportunity to get or to improve you Russian language knowledge at the very first hand.
