Jagiellonian University gives you an unique possibility to study and experience Polish language and culture in one of the most beautiful and interesting city in Central Europe. Both one-semester and full-year options are available. All of offered courses are taught in English by distinguished experts from leading institutions in Poland and are run in five modules: Literature (LIT), Culture (CUL), History (HIST), Jewish Studies (JST) and Polish Language (LAN). To complete a semester, students are obliged to choose at least three courses, for which they receive approximately 30 credit points (according to the European Credit Transfer System). Students will encounter IPS as a venue in which to discuss the most important issues of contemporary culture with close reference to the past and present of the Polish cultural heritage.

Cost Include Description:
The IPS tuition fee is 5000 USD per semester, which covers the costs of:* Four selected courses, including private tutorials and course materials (the cost of each additional course is US $600). * Full access to the IPS computer lab with broadband Internet and multimedia technology, all university libraries, and all other standard university facilities. * IPS student services including dedicated support staff, integration team, internship assistance, orientation, culture shock workshops, all cultural and tourist events in Krakow organized by IPS. * Transfer from point of arrival to Krakow. * The costs of accommodation and transportation for one (1) IPS study trip.

Department of International Polish Studies, Jagiellonian University in Krakow's Mission Statement: Aiming towards the goal of augmenting and stimulating the intellectual and academic environment in Krakow, IPS looks toward the creation of an international and multicultural community of scholars and students dedicated to humanistic and artistic concerns and research. It is in this way that IPS intends to expand and enlarge the prominent scholarly center found in Krakow and the Jagiellonian University and to group those interested in establishing a fertile thinking circle at the heart of the central European melting pot of cultures. It is to this that IPS has established its educational activities.
