Description:
Our Work and Study program in Australia will allow students to improve their English skills by following English classes. Students will put their English knowledge into practice by doing a Work Experience in the hospitality sector. We provide orientation on arrival and assist the student with various administrative tasks prior to the work placement. Nacel guarantees 3 job interviews in the hospitality industry in Australia. Students also take some specialized courses: Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification (RSA) and Function Service Skills Certificate, which are helpful to find a job in this sector (on option: Barista Training). Location - Language course will take place in our school in Sydney. - Work placement can be throughout Australia.

Work Placement Most paid positions are offered in the Hospitality sector: bar staff, barista, function waiter, guest relations etc... Jobs can be anywhere throughout the country. Interviews will be held in the first 4 weeks of arrival or when the student reaches a lower intermediate level of English. Applicants are required to submit a resume where required, present for interviews in an appropriate manner and meet to the best ability work commitments. Applicants are required to complete all contractual documents and return them to the employer within 7 days. Acceptance by the employer to work constitutes a placement and infers we have met our obligation to the participant. We also have also met our obligations where three job interviews have been arranged and no job offer has been made. If Applicants withdraw from the program at any stage no refund will be made. Applicants must take the first job offered to them through the Service. If Applicants are offered a job, there is no further obligation us to arrange interviews for other jobs or with other employers. Only one employment opportunity will be arranged for the Applicants. If he or she is not successful no refund will be made. If he or she is successful and rejects the offer, no refund will be made.
Qualifications:
Age From 18 to 30 years old on arrival. VISA Working Holiday Visa (only for citizens of UK, Canada, Netherlands, Japan, Ireland, Korea, Malta, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Hong Kong, Finland, Cyprus, France, Italy, Taiwan, Estonia) or Student Visa with Work Permit 157P (eCOE). If you are eligible to a Working Holiday Visa, you will only have 4 weeks of English classes, part-time, and you can then start to work, full time. If you are only eligible to a student visa, you will have to attend English classes during the entire stay, full-time. Moreover, you won't be able to work more than 20 hours per week during your stay. Under no circumstance are you permitted to work without studying during the length of the course. Accommodation 3 nights' accommodation in a hostel or student residence. Accommodation and food costs for the rest of the stay remain the responsibility of the student. Application Deadline - At least 4 months before arrival. Late application may be accepted. - Students who have a Working Holliday visa will attend 15 hours of general English classes per week, during their first four weeks in Sydney (part-time classes). - Students who have a Student Visa will attend 27.5 hours of intensive English classes per week, during their entire stay in Sydney (full-time classes). - Students eligible to Working Holiday Visa can choose to follow as many English classes as students with Student Visa. However, they will have to pay the same price as students with Student Visa. - Students who are not eligible to a Working Holiday Visa MUST ask for a Student Visa and must choose the corresponding program (full-time classes). - All the facilities and description below apply to every student, either with Working Holiday Visa or Student Visa. Requirements - Lower intermediate level of English. - Students with a Student Visa have to take the OSHC (Overseas Student Health Cover). Please ask to the Australian embassy for more detailed information - Applicants must successfully complete the two day training program once in Sydney: RSA certificate and WFS certificate - Working Holiday Visa or Student Visa with a Work Permit 157P (eCOE)
