Description: Instituto Jovel is a Spanish language school which emphasizes Mexican Culture and has been devoted to teaching Spanish as a second language to students from all over the world since 1993. We are located in San Cristobal de Las Casas, Mexico, which is in the heart of the highlands of the state of Chiapas.

We are an institution that offers high quality language classes, home stays with Mexican families, Spanish for professionals, cultural workshops, and excursions to Mayan villages, archeological sites and beautiful nature reserves. We offer our students the opportunity to be fully immersed in Mexican culture, far beyond what is available through standard tourism.
