Description: Fast, fun and effective Thai language courses at a small and friendly language school on the tropical island of Koh Lanta Yai.

Based on the latest findings in educational science, our new methods of teaching combine activity learning, e-learning and brain-friendly reading lessons to create a unique blend of Thai language courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.

When you study Thai with Lanta International Language School, you can forget long lectures and endless textbooks; our courses are fun and above all effective, with beginner students learning an average of 150 new Thai words per week.

We are situated on a beautiful island along the west coast of Thailand, which means our students have the pleasure of learning Thai in a relaxed and idyllic location.

Cost in US$: $1920

* 20 effective Thai language lessons per week (1 hour each) for the duration of 13 weeks. You will learn to understand, speak and read the Thai language. The language of teaching is English but many classes are taught in Thai only (yes, you will understand!).
* Maximum 12 students per group.
* Computer based language-learning material such as movies, sound files and games, all of which will help you to learn faster, and give you the opportunity to repeat the vocabulary and grammar in a fun way.

Course Books:
*Free access to wireless internet from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
* A T-shirt with the text: "I study Thai, please speak slowly" written in Thai.
* One complementary "Thai dinner" where you learn Thai table manners.
* Access to our library with books about Thailand, Thai movies and Thai music.
* Help with booking accommodation.

In addition:
You will have the opportunity to join many activities, excursions and trips at low cost. Cultural activities, elephant trekking, snorkeling, kayaking, Thai cooking are some of the activities available for which we have negotiated discounted prices for our students.

The beach is only 150 meters away from the school, so you will have plenty of time to relax on the beach or swim in the Andaman Sea.

If you feel the need to be more energetic there is a gym nearby offering Thai boxing, fitness training and yoga.

For those of you who would like to pamper yourself, or reward yourself for learning so much, we have also negotiated discounts on local spa treatments.
