Students from over 20 countries are studying in a homelike atmosphere in ALA that generously provides them with counseling for their lives and careers in Japan. Through classes in ALA and extra lessons outside of school, students can deepen exchange with Japanese people and other students from all over the world by learning not only Japanese language but also its society, culture and customs.
In addition, ALA supports students' aims such as going on to higher education and working in Japan.

1. Japanese for Communication
      "Usable" is the most important key when you learn a language at ALA You can use the knowledge and skill which you've learned immediately. We promise you that you will learn useful Japanese which you can put to use immediately in your daily life.

2.Japanese for Adults
      You are what you say. You will learn "Adult Japanese" here to express yourself as an adult in Japanese society. This allow you to operate at a higher level of communication.

3.Japanese for Different Purposes
      In addition to conversation course, ALA provides a wide variety of curriculum to meet individual requirements such as for success in business in Japan, for university enrolment, and for understanding of Japanese culture.

Highlights: Reasons why you should study with us

1. Visa Proxy
    * ALA is authorized by the Japanese Ministry of Justice as its agent, and can help foreign students coming to Japan obtain a pre-college student visa. Students who register for an intensive course can have ALA apply for the visa in their stead.

2. Extracurricular Activities
    * Activities such as bus trips, sports events and parties are arranged each term to allow the students to interact with one another and teachers to get to know each other better.

3.Counseling
    * The staffs at ALA are always on hand to offer counseling and practical advice to students experiencing difficulties with life in Japan.

4.Scholarships
    * Students who attend all classes and are punctual throughout the term will be awarded a scholarship and will receive a discount on the following term's fees.

5.Assigned Teacher
    * One teacher is assigned to look after the needs of each class. He or she will follow the progress of each individual student.

    * For students wishing to attend Japanese universities or vocational schools, all the necessary information will be provided. Teachers are on hand to help students with any questions or problems.

7.Free Trial Lesson
    * We offer a free trial lesson to see the method of teaching, the curriculum, and how students participate in a class.

at ALA we offer over ten levels of instruction. Our curriculum places great emphasis on developing communication skills. To that end we use materials from everyday life to practice Japanese, such as newspapers, novels, etc.

We pay special attention to the speaking abilities of our students when they take our placement test.
