Typical Duration of Program: 2-4 weeks
Description:
High School program: Teens from 13 - 18 join up in Mexico to learn in the community. Teens will stay with a host family, have Spanish classes and interaction with local teens in activities. The participants will dramatically improve their Spanish while learning about the culture first hand. The activities planned will teach not only Spanish, but team work, Mexican history and Mexican customs. The Language School: is situated on a private street away from the busy streets and traffic noise. Students will be able to relax and concentrate on our grounds with patios and green spaces. A full kitchen is provided along with free purified water, coffee and tea. We create ideal and comfortable situations that promote the learning of the Spanish language in every possible moment. We give individual attention and create programs for each person's needs and goals. The volunteer programs: We arrange many volunteer programs for different interests and lengths of time. We arrange daily afternoon programs at orphanages, child centers, womens' prisons, shelters, animal sterilization and curing programs. These programs are just for a couple hours a day. We also arrange volunteer opportunities in remote communities. Volunteers go into the northern mountains of the state and help out and live within the community.
