Description:
MexArt Summer Teen Institutes are one-month programs where students may focus on art or dance and Spanish language while immersed in Mexican culture. Set in the picturesque mountain town of San Miguel de Allende, MexArt excels in teaching the visual arts, dance, and Spanish. Participants choose art of dance in which to focus and may choose other areas with which to experiment. Student talent varies in ability from having an interest to having years of practice. All levels are welcome. Spanish is also an integral part of the program and is geared to each individual's speaking ability. Our professional artists and Spanish faculty are enthusiastic, talented teachers. This particular session is open to students finishing grades 10-12.
Highlights:
Spanish language, art, dance, cultural immersion, travel in Mexico Application process is not too competitive but our capacity is 28 students. Applications should be sent as early as possible.

Cost Include Description:
Cost includes housing, meals, classes, and weekend and evening activities. Does not include airfare. Parents also have the option of adding an additional 200 USD spending account for students to buy snacks, do laundry, and purchase souvenirs.
