Description:
Language Courses Students will attend German lessons on mornings and practice different activities on afternoons, allowing them to use the German language along the day. German lessons are given by teachers specialized in teaching German as a foreign language. Students attend classes 15 hours per week (3 hours daily from Monday to Friday) in small groups of 12 students. Our qualified teachers are German. A test will be organized on the first day of class to determine the students level of German. Courses will be held at the youth hostel, where students are accommodated. Activities Afternoon outdoor activities include sports competition, fire rituals, visit of a low and high wire adventure park etc. Examples of activities offered: - Celtic tournament: the Celtic tournament is an exercises chain to get to know other participants as well as exercises to solve problems during an adventure course. - City Bound: The City Bound allows students to discover the town; German culture and history is explained through games. - Shipwreck victims on a raft: Students will have to build a raft with very few materials and will be able to discover the lake. - Building of a sauna: students will have to build a sauna with herbs and other materials like Indians. - Outdoor kitchen, Indian fire, LandArt activities, Sailing etc.
Highlights:
Students will improve their German communication skills thanks to dedicated language courses, shared activities and provided adventures. On mornings, tutorial courses will focus on language acquisition. Various outdoor activities will be offered on afternoons. The camp takes place in the wonderful Bavarian Alps, which will offer our campers a very nice environment. The Lake Starnberg can be reached directly via a public landscape and leisure park offering large meadows and an attractive swimming area.
