Surf in one of the best surfing locations in the world, learn Spanish and have a variety of spectacular adventures on this amazing Yomps Surf and Spanish Adventure in Ecuador. Whether you are an experienced surfer or have yet to put your feet on a surfboard, can speak some Spanish or don't know a word, if you want to have a brilliant adventure in an amazing part of the world then this is the trip for you!

Ecuador is a remarkable country filled with startling diversities. This trip takes you to experience Ecuador in all its glory, as you learn to surf the breaks of one of the most beautiful coastlines the world and gain a fantastic knowledge of the Spanish language and South American culture.

Your home for the duration of the adventure will be the town Montanita a small village on Ecuador's Pacific Coast, which is recognized as being one of the best surfing locales in the country. Indeed, with its brilliant waves, stunning beaches and glorious scenery, Montanita is truly a surfing paradise! In this surfing haven, you will live in lovely thatched cabanas (thatched rooms) in a quiet location, which are just a few minutes walk from the beach, town and Spanish school.

Each weekday, you will learn Spanish for four hours a day. Rather than restricting you to a classroom, the lessons are normally held in the open air, on balconies overlooking the sea, on the beach, in the cafes, and just about anywhere else that you fancy. This way, you get to see spectacular scenery and mix with the local people of Montanita, all while you learn a new language.

Every day, you will also surf some spectacular surf breaks. Your surf instructor, Isidro, represents Ecuador in international competitions and came 17th in the World Surfing Championship in 2008, so you are in good hands! He will teach you in small groups, passing on a variety of helpful tips and knowledge, to help anyone that couldn't previously surf to develop into a good surfer, and anyone that could already surf become an even better surfer! You will get to surf at the different surf locations along the 60kms of Ecuadorian coastline; the highlight of which will be at 'The Point' the location for a variety of international surf competitions every year.

During your adventure in Ecuador, you will also go on a trip to Isla del Plata, a famous wildlife island teeming with spectacular wildlife. With the chance to incorporate some volunteering, yoga, salsa dancing, diving, snorkelling, horse riding and even a trip to the Galapagos Islands into your trip, this Ecuadorian adventure is a truly special experience to tell your friends about!
